  • Have oats, pastas, potatoes, and other cereals in your healthy eating plan. You can have them during breakfast. Dieticians say that you have to take 60 percent of the calories you eat everyday must come from carbohydrates.
  • For milk and dairy foods, you have to have at least two to three servings everyday. The foods that are included under this category are yogurt, milk, cheese, eggs, and cream. However, the serving in this food group may depend on how concentrated the food is.
  • To strengthen your plan, you have to include in you dietary list at least two to three servings of meat fish and other alternatives. If your plan is for weight loss, choose none fat. This food group includes fish, meat, eggs, and fishcakes. The alternatives comprise the non-meat products like tofu, mycoprotein, and nuts.
  • To complete your regular healthy eating plan, you have to include food that contains and food that contains sugar. But you have to take note that you only need to eat in small quantities or at least 0-3 servings per day. The foods that are high in fat and sugar are ice cream, cakes, pastries, mayonnaise, margarine, butter, soft drinks, chocolate, and biscuits.

These are very simple and affordable food that you can have in your diet plan. You also have to remember that you have to maintain and continue your exercise to balance the whole diet.
